We never charge candidates illegal fees
If someone claiming to represent Zarya Consultants has asked you for money to get a job, to be shortlisted, or to release a visa, stop, do not pay, and read this page.
Holding a placement reference? Check it against our records before you act on it. Verify a placement. A reference that does not check out did not come from us.
The single test. Zarya does not charge candidates a placement fee, ever, in any country, for any role. Registering, applying, being shortlisted, being interviewed and being offered a job are all free. Anyone who tells you otherwise is not acting for us, whatever documents or logos they show you.
What we never do
- Charge a fee to register, apply, be shortlisted or be interviewed
- Ask you to pay to “secure”, “block” or “release” a job offer or visa
- Ask for payment into an individual’s personal bank account, mobile wallet or crypto address
- Demand payment urgently, or tell you the offer disappears if you do not pay today
- Ask for your passport, bank details or full identity documents before a genuine offer stage
- Conduct the whole process only through a consumer chat app, with no verifiable company email
Costs that can be genuine
Some real third-party costs exist in international recruitment. Depending on the country and role, a candidate may legitimately pay for a medical examination, a passport, a police clearance certificate, or a document attestation. Where that applies:
- We tell you the amount before you spend anything
- We tell you exactly who receives the money: a clinic, a government office, an attestation service
- You pay that provider directly, never a Zarya employee or agent personally
- You get a receipt from the provider
If any of those four things is missing, treat it as fraud.
Warning signs
- An offer letter for a job you never applied for
- Email from a free consumer domain rather than a company domain
- A job reference number that does not appear anywhere on this website
- Pay that is far above the market rate for the trade and destination
- Pressure not to discuss it with family, friends or other candidates
- A “refundable deposit” of any kind
Our commitment to partners
The same rule binds every agency in our partner network. Partners must not charge candidates illegal placement fees, and doing so ends the relationship. Ethical sourcing is not only a candidate-protection measure. It is what protects our clients from the retention and reputational risk that fee-charging chains create.
