Success story

Full crew rotation for a 12-vessel bulk fleet

Bulk carrier alongside a support vessel at sea

The challenge

A manager taking over 12 bulk carriers needed complete crew rotation across the fleet within one quarter, with vessel-type experience and flag-state documentation verified for every rank.

What we did

We built rank-by-rank pools from our seafarer bench in India and the Philippines, verified sea time and vessel-type experience against discharge books, and sequenced joiners around the port rotation of each vessel.

Common questions

How quickly can you shortlist for maritime & crewing roles?

For roles where we hold an active bench, shortlists typically go out within days of a confirmed requirement. Volume and highly certified roles take longer because trade testing, document verification and medicals happen before anyone reaches you. We would rather spend that time up front than have a worker fail an on-site re-test.

Which countries do you source maritime & crewing talent from?

Primarily India, Nepal, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Kenya and Serbia, through licensed partner agencies in each market. The right source market depends on the certifications your roles require and the visa route into your destination country. We will recommend, not just supply.

Do you handle visas and documentation?

Yes. Attestation, medicals, work permits, visa processing, travel and joining logistics are managed as one process rather than handed between vendors. Country-specific requirements are set out on each of our country pages.

What does Zarya charge candidates?

Nothing for placement. Registration and applying are free, and we never charge illegal placement fees. Where a candidate must pay a genuine third-party cost such as a medical, a passport or a document attestation, we tell you the amount and who receives it before you spend anything. See our anti-fraud policy.
