Full crew rotation for a 12-vessel bulk fleet

The challenge

A manager taking over 12 bulk carriers needed complete crew rotation across the fleet within one quarter, with vessel-type experience and flag-state documentation verified for every rank.

Our approach

We built rank-by-rank pools from our seafarer bench in India and the Philippines, verified sea time and vessel-type experience against discharge books, and sequenced joiners around the port rotation of each vessel.

The result

Crew changes completed across all 12 vessels within the quarter with no off-hire attributable to crewing, and a retention rate above 90% at first contract renewal.
